S. Unnikrishnan, 53, journalist and former secretary of the Ernakulam Press Club, passed away here on Saturday (May 2, 2026).
He had been suffering from liver-related ailments for some time and was admitted to hospital on Friday (May 1, 2026), according to officials at Lakeshore Hospital here.
He had worked as a journalist for over 25 years in various media organisations. A native of Cherthala South, he is survived by wife Preetha G. Panicker and children Anantha Padmanabhan and Achuthan Unni.
