Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi on Saturday (May 2, 2026) said investment proposals worth ₹3,53,306 crore were secured through 2,792 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) signed during the two-day Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for South Gujarat, with the projects expected to generate 2.82 lakh direct jobs.

Addressing the valedictory session, Mr. Sanghavi said the agreements were finalised during the event and expected to be implemented over the next three years. He said the conference was part of efforts by the State government to expand the Vibrant Gujarat initiative beyond Gandhinagar to different regions under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
