Fox News host Jesse Watters says he was rushed away from Queen Camilla after making a questionable quip about gun violence while meeting her at a white-tie dinner hosted by President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday night.

During Wednesday’s episode of “The Five,” the conservative media personality recounted his series of social blunders that evening, starting with a snag getting past security.

After making it past the checkpoint, where he was told “every member of Fox screwed up” their paperwork for the event, Watters got a taste of King Charles′ famously dry wit.

Watters said that “the king had no idea who I was” and acknowledged him with a pithy “Well, they must really love you here” when Watters told Charles he hosts two Fox News shows.

Moving on to Queen Camilla, Watters asked about her stop by the White House-shaped beehive recently installed on the South Lawn. He said she replied, “It was very good. No one got stung.”
