Chase Claypool wants back in.
The former NFL receiver last played for the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 7, 2024, recording one catch for three yards. That has served as the final game of Claypool's career for the last two seasons, but the Notre Dame star is hoping to rewrite the ending.
Claypool is participating in the Green Bay Packers' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis in an attempt to reboot his NFL career.
The two-day camp is the former Notre Dame star's first chance to make a new lasting impression. Claypool was out of the league for the 2025 season after being released by the Buffalo Bills ahead of the 2024 campaign with an injury settlement. He picked up a toe injury during training camp, which led to him being placed on injured reserve.
Claypool first announced his intention to attempt an NFL comeback on July 3, 2025.
