Jimmy Kimmel called out President Donald Trump for threatening Iran with an AI-generated image of himself holding an assault rifle with the caption “No More Mr. Nice Guy” days after the White House accused Democrats of spreading violent rhetoric.

During his opening monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday night, Kimmel joked that the Trump administration should “lock” the president out of his phone to prevent him from going on his signature, unhinged late-night rants on social media.

“[Trump] posted this at 4:05 a.m. So much for toning down the rhetoric, I guess! Can we maybe get him one of those bricks that locks him out of his phone between the hours of midnight and six? Maybe one of those Yondr pouches they have at concerts?” the late-night host said as the crowd laughed.

Kimmel then unloaded on the president while questioning how the Iranians are “supposed to react” to the ridiculous image.

“Is it supposed to scare them?” he continued. “Best-case scenario, they go, ‘You know what? The old man’s lost his marbles. He can’t sleep. He’s cosplaying as fat John Wick. I think we need to call his kids to make sure he’s OK.’”
