The Tiruchi Railway Division organised a business development meeting with its freight customers here on Thursday.
The meeting saw the participation of representatives of 11 major customers including Karaikal Port Private Limited, IL&FS Tamil Nadu Power Co. Limited, Puduchathiram, Dalmia Cements (B) Limited, Dalmiapuram, India Cements Limited, Ichchangadu, The Ramco Cements Limited, Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Limited, Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation and Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Paper Limited, Pugalur.
The objective of the meeting, presided over by Divisional Railway Manager, Tiruchi Balak Ram Negi, was to discuss the anticipated traffic projections for the 2026-2027 financial year. The customers shared their loading plans and discussed the issues requiring attention.
Mr. Balak Ram Negi assured them that the division would duly examine theqir suggestions and extend all possible support to facilitate enhanced loading in the forthcoming year, a press release from the Tiruchi Division said.
