April 30 (UPI) --
Pulp Fiction and Mission Impossible actor Ving Rhames has been released from a hospital after collapsing at a California restaurant Wednesday afternoon.
"He sounded like everyday Ving and cracked a joke over the phone," his manager Brad Kramer told Variety, adding that the star had been discharged from a medical facility just hours after treatment.
Kramer told USA Today Rhames may have been overheated, but now "feels fine" after the incident.
TMZ reported the 66-year-old actor was eating with his family when he collapsed at the table.
