The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 11 Telangana districts for Thursday (April 30, 2026).
According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 40℃ and 28℃ respectively,” the bulletin said.
