The Byndoor police have arrested three persons from Maharashtra for their alleged involvement in robbing a woman of her ₹2.5 lakh worth gold bangle on Monday.The police identified the accused as Avinash Sunil Gayakwad, 27, Santoshi Vishal Jadhav, 31, and Archana Susheel Jadhav, 40, all from Thane, in Maharashtra.According to a press release by police, two accused persons diverted attention of victim Sahana Pai as she was trying to board a bus to Dharwad at 2.45 p.m. on April 27. Third accused, who was behind Ms. Pai, pushed her down. He used a cutter to cut the gold bangle she was wearing, and took it away.Following complaint by Ms. Pai, a team led by Kundapur Circle Inspector Santosh Kaikini traced the accused and arrested them.
