Three bald eagles that broke free from an enclosure at Dollywood during a storm earlier this month remain missing.

On April 19, the storm damaged the theme park's Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, a 30,000-square-foot aviary, leading to the birds' escape, the American Eagle Foundation said in a social media post.

Eagle Mountain Sanctuary is the country's largest group of of non-releasable bald eagles, according to Dollywood's website. The park is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, about 10 miles north of Gatlinburg.

Twenty-six of the park's eagles were relocated to the American Eagle Foundation headquarters in Kodak, Tennessee, Lori Moore, the foundation's CEO, announced in an Instagram post on Friday, April 24.
