At least two people were reportedly killed, and multiple homes were destroyed after tornadoes ripped through Texas over the weekend.

A strong supercell moved through North Texas on April 25, producing two tornadoes in Wise and Parker counties, according to the National Weather Service in Dallas. One person died in both Wise County and Parker counties —though the NWS noted that one of the deaths was associated with very strong winds and the person was not in the tornado's path.

Both tornadoes hit the region just after 9 p.m. local time on April 25 and have been categorized as EF-1 (for winds estimated at 105 miles per hour) and EF-2 (for winds estimated at 130 miles per hour), according to preliminary damage survey results by the NWS.

In addition to the deaths, six people were treated for injuries and dozens of families have been displaced, reported NBC DFW.
