The University of Madras (UoM) has invited applications from students who have passed Plus Two examination in 2025-26 to pursue undergraduate degree programme in the forthcoming academic year in aided and self-financing colleges affiliated to the university.
Applicants from economically backward strata, orphans, children of widows/widowers, first graduates of family, and transgender persons would be given preference for selection. The annual income of the family should not exceed ₹3,00,000 per annum, according to a press release.
Details of procedure and documents to be uploaded can be accessed at www.unom.ac.in. The last date for submission of applications is 15 days from the publication of Plus Two results. Applications with scanned copies of all necessary documents duly uploaded will be accepted, the release added.
