Enzo Bettamio alleged to have stabbed Kamonnan Thiamphanit in April 2024 at a property in Bayswater

A teenager has been charged with murder over the death of a 27-year-old woman after his extradition from the United Arab Emirates to the UK.

The charge relates to the stabbing of Kamonnan Thiamphanit, which took place at a property in Bayswater, west London, on 6 April 2024.

Thiamphanit, who was also known as Angela, was found by police at her home address in Stanhope Place at about 8.30am. She was located with multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Metropolitan police said it successfully extradited Enzo Bettamio, 18, of no fixed address, on a flight from Dubai to the UK on Friday after joint inquiries by the force and specialist lawyers in the Crown Prosecution Service’s extradition and international units.
