A suicide attack threat at the Rajasthan Assembly building in Jaipur on Friday (April 24, 2026) triggered a massive security response, leading to an immediate evacuation and an intensive search of the premises. While this was the second such warning in less than two weeks, no suspicious object was found in the search.
An anonymous email sent to the Assembly Secretariat warned of four powerful explosions by two suicide attackers brought from Chennai at 1 p.m. “Two attackers wearing explosive belts will carry out the blasts. When they reach near the bombs, they will automatically be activated and detonate,” the email said.
