Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he underwent successful treatment for early-stage prostate cancer and is “in excellent physical condition” now.
Providing details of his annual medical report on Friday (April 24, 2026), he said: “I had a minor medical issue with my prostate that was completely treated. Thank God, it’s behind me.”
Mr. Netanyahu said that he had requested a two-month delay in the release of the report in view of Israel’s war against Iran and Lebanon. “I requested to delay its publication by two months so that it would not be released at the height of the war, in order not to allow the Iranian terror regime to spread even more false propaganda against Israel,” he wrote in a post on X.
