For the first time, Bernard Arnault handed the microphone to each of his five children during the LVMH shareholders' general meeting on Thursday, April 23. Following an investigation published by Le Nouvel Obs on Thursday, April 16, focusing on the "succession war" at the head of the luxury group, the 77-year-old CEO wanted to demonstrate how his children "are highly talented in their fields," he told the press after the meeting.
To Jean Arnault, the youngest of his children, a 28-year-old marketing director of watches at Louis Vuitton, the CEO suggested he speak about his manufacture, La Fabrique du Temps ("The Factory of Time"). Then he invited Frédéric Arnault to present "what makes Loro Piana successful," a house he has led since June 2025. Alexandre Arnault was next, tasked with discussing the situation of the wines and spirits division, which he has co-led since February 2025. Finally, Delphine Arnault, Bernard's eldest, spoke about the state of Dior, which she has chaired since 2023.
