Telangana Grameena Bank reported profit after tax rose 89.96% year on year to ₹1,282.84 crore in 2025-26.
Total deposits increased 7.58% to ₹34,604.69 crore and gross advances 12.11% to ₹46,547.81 crore. Total business at ₹81,152.50 crore was a 10.14% growth, the bank said in a release on Tuesday.
Net interest margin went up to 4.33% from 3.99%, while yield on advances stood at 9.83%. Gross non-performing assets improved to 1.98% (2.10%). Net NPA was zero.
The higher profit after tax is the result of a steady focus on prudent lending, digital innovation and strengthening our roots in semi-urban and rural Telangana. “We now command nearly one-fourth of the market share in rural Telangana areas... with net NPA staying at zero and our capital adequacy ratio at 26.24% — almost three times the regulatory requirement — our balance sheet is stronger than ever,” Chairman K. Prathapa Reddy said.
