Jessica Chastain says her long-shelved Apple TV series, “The Savant,” will finally see the light of day.

The high-stakes political thriller — which stars Chastain as an undercover investigator who infiltrates online hate groups on the dark web to prevent domestic terrorism — was originally slated to debut Sept. 26, 2025. However, Apple TV delayed the premiere indefinitely after the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk earlier that month.

“After careful consideration, we have made the decision to postpone ‘The Savant,’” an Apple TV spokesperson said in a statement to several outlets at the time without offering additional details. “We appreciate your understanding and look forward to releasing the series at a future date.”

Now, according to Chastain — who’s also an executive producer on “The Savant” — that release may be approaching.

“Before it was like, ‘I don’t know if we’re gonna see it.’ Now I can say, ‘We’re gonna see it,’” the actor recently told Variety. Sources told the outlet Apple TV is planning to release the show sometime in July.
