April 20 (UPI) -- The Dallas Cowboys and kicker Brandon Aubrey agreed to a record four-year, $28 million contract extension, his agency announced Monday.
Athletes First said Aubrey's deal includes $20 million in guarantees and an average salary of $7 million per season. Once signed, the agreement will make Aubrey the highest-paid kicker in NFL history.
The Cowboys' kicker made 88.2% of his field goal attempts and 96.9% of his extra point attempts through his first three seasons. Aubrey was a Pro Bowl selection each of those years. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2023, when he led the league with 36 made field goals.
Aubrey made 40 field goals in 2024 and 36 attempts again last season. He earned second-team All-Pro honors for those campaigns.
Aubrey ranks No. 1 in NFL history with six field goals made from 60 yards or deeper He converted 24 of 27 attempts from 50 yards or deeper through the first 51 appearances of his NFL career.
