April 20 (UPI) -- Neon is gearing up for the release of Hokum.
The studio shared a final trailer for the supernatural horror film Monday.
Severance star Adam Scott plays Ohm Bauman, a novelist who lodges at a remote inn on a trip to scatter his late parents' ashes. During his stay, he becomes obsessed with stories of a witch that haunts the inn's honeymoon suite.
"Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance forces him to confront dark corners of his past," an official description reads.
Hokum is directed by Irish filmmaker Damian McCarthy (Caveat, Oddity). The movie opens in theaters May 1.
