A video from inside a Fly91 ATR 72-600 flight has gone viral on social media, showing passengers distressed during mid-air turbulence caused by adverse weather conditions. The incident occurred on Sunday (April 19, 2026) on a Hyderabad to Hubballi flight.

The footage, reportedly recorded by a passenger, captures moments of panic inside the cabin, with some passengers seen crying as the aircraft encountered rough weather. In the video, a woman can be heard sobbing while others appear visibly shaken by the turbulence.

Towards the end of the clip, the pilot addresses passengers, assuring them of their safety. “Your safety is paramount and it is our topmost priority, so be rest assured. We will not attempt landing in case the conditions are marginal and, if required, we will be diverting. We still have another 30 to 45 minutes of endurance and we are holding. We will keep you updated. Have patience and kindly follow instructions of our cabin crew,” the announcement said.

According to data from flight tracking platform Flightradar24, flight IC3401 departed from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at 3.14 p.m. and was scheduled to land at Hubballi airport at 4.30 p.m. However, due to unfavourable weather conditions over Hubballi, the aircraft circled the area before being diverted to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.
