“The Pitt” finished up its second season on HBO Max on Thursday and left us with a ton of questions. But thankfully for fans of the show, Season 3 is already in the works. The writers room is in full swing.

Noah Wyle, who stars in, writes and executive produces the hit series, teased the third season in a sprawling interview with USA Today. After being a bit coy about a time jump for the upcoming season in an interview with Variety earlier this month, he finally spilled the beans on a few details — including when Season 3 will take place.

“It will be pre-Thanksgiving, moving into colder weather,” Wyle told USA Today this week. “The holidays are approaching. The weather’s changing. People are turning on their heaters for the first time.”

“It will be explosive,” he continued.

Wyle also confirmed that the show will start shooting in June and that “they’ll hopefully get back on the air in January.”
