Lauren Rubinski, in Paris, March 20, 2026. GABRIEL MRABI FOR M LE MAGAZINE DU MONDE
For more than 15 years, the self-taught Lauren Rubinski, now in her 40s, moved from one project to another. She created brands selling diamond piercings and body jewlery (Pristine); inexpensive, playful beaded bracelets (Love Beads); poplin pajama shirts (Pyj Paris, in collaboration with her father); and luxurious gold jewelry (Lauren Rubinski).
"Lauren has an insatiable desire for beauty," summed up her friend Gauthier Borsarello, a vintage expert and collector. But before she opened Rubirosa's – a pocket-sized boutique at 37 Rue de Grenelle in Paris, which launched in May 2025 – the legacy of her father had never been so apparent. The shirtmaker Bruno Rubinski, who died 10 years ago, had once custom-made a blouse for his daughter: straight-cut, classic in style, with a French collar. She has had this reproduced and now offers it for sale.
