The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) on Saturday published the final electoral rolls for 369 wards across five city corporations, with the updated list reflecting an increase of 2,833 voters compared to the revised draft electoral rolls released on March 9. The total electorate, as per the final rolls, is 88,95,361.
The final rolls record 45,71,169 male voters, 43,22,557 female voters and 1,635 voters in the other category, with a total of 8,023 polling stations across the five corporations. The Bengaluru West City Corporation accounts for the highest number of voters at 27,28,933, followed by the North corporation at 19,54,504. The Bengaluru East, with the lowest, has 10,41,454 voters.
The ward-level data shows that Ward No. 51, Subramanyapura in Bengaluru South, continues to have the highest number of voters at 54,026, while Ward No. 16, Kottur, in Bengaluru East, has the lowest at 10,940 voters.
Before releasing the final list, the GBA sought two extensions from the State Election Commission to the deadline for filing claims and objections after receiving multiple complaints from the public and political parties. In total, the window for submitting objections and claims remained open for 21 days.
