India has welcomed the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire, Radhir Jaiswal, spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, on Friday (April 17, 2026) said. He said that “India welcomes every step towards peace.”
To questions on Pakistan’s role in peace process between Iran and U.S., Mr. Jaiswal said “we are closely following all developments in West Asia war”.
