MS NOW’s Lawrence O’Donnell on Tuesday argued that descriptions of Donald Trump as the “leader of the free world” are now being disregarded in favor of another label: “a dangerous and corrupt gangster.”

The host pointed to remarks from Ed Davey, a member of the British Parliament who recently took aim at Trump over his genocidal threat to Iran.

Davey, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, described Trump’s threat as a “stark reminder of how reckless, immoral and completely outside the bounds of international law this president is.”

“Regrettably, he is no friend of the United Kingdom,” said Davey of Trump in a parliamentary statement on Monday.

“He’s no leader of the free world. He is a dangerous and corrupt gangster and that is how we must treat him.”
