April 15 (UPI) -- Warner Bros. has announced the title of its Game of Thrones movie -- Aegon's Conquest.
The studio shared the news Tuesday during its presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, which showcased its projects for "2027 and beyond."
Aegon's Conquest will center on Aegon I Targaryen, known as Aegon the Conqueror after defeating six of the Seven Kingdoms in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire by author George R.R. Martin.
Aegon, the first Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, had two wives, his sisters Visenya and Rhaenys. The trio established the Targaryen dynasty in Westeros.
Aegon's Conquest is one of several upcoming projects based on Martin's works. His Song of Ice and Fire book series was previously adapted as the hit show Game of Thrones, which had an eight-season run on HBO from 2011 to 2019.
