Praja Arogya Vedika (PAV) and Jan Swasthya Abhiyan (JSA) expressed regret over the demise of S. Suresh, the former general secretary of PAV.

The PAV members, in a press release, recalled that Mr. Suresh was a dedicated progressive activist, intellectual, and noble human being, who made significant contributions to the public health movement in Andhra Pradesh. Besides fulfilling his professional responsibilities as a faculty member in a dental college, he was one of the key figures in the formation of Praja Arogya Vedika (PAV), the Andhra Pradesh chapter of Jan Swasthya Abhiyan (JSA), they said.

He played an instrumental role in strengthening the organisation and extending its presence to many districts in Andhra Pradesh, they said, conveying condolences to the bereaved family members.
