A 19-year-old youth was arrested for snatching a mobile phone from a person waiting at a bus stop in Sembium area.
According to police, Ranbir alias Esu, the accused, snatched the mobile phone of Gajapathi, 46, and attempted to flee, while he was waiting at bus stop. Gajapathi raised an alarm and, along with few passersby, chased and caught the accused.
He was then handed over to the Sembium Police Station Crime Wing. The police arrested Ranbir alias Esu, a native of Chhattisgarh.
