Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) faced a wave of boos and criticism from his constituents at a town hall event on Sunday as he attempted to defend his support for President Donald Trump’s unpopular Iran war.

“You say that when you disagree with Trump, you will tell him so, but that’s not enough,” said a man who sparked “loud cheers” from the crowd, per the Journal News.

“You must impeach. He’s a fraud, he’s corrupt, he’s an incompetent psychopath. The Republican Party and you are enabling him. You’re all cowards, and you’re spineless,” the man continued before he was kicked out of the auditorium at New York’s Mahopac High School.

The comments arrived moments after Lawler — a centerpiece of sorts for hostile town halls since Trump’s return to office — argued in favor of the president dragging the U.S. into the war, declaring that America needs to “do everything we can to ensure” the Iranian regime doesn’t get a nuclear weapon.

Video shared by The New York Times’ Robert Jimison shows a man shouting down the congressman as he’s escorted out of the event, though it’s unclear whether it’s the same man.
