Iran is open to holding another round of peace talks with the United States, provided it does not make any “unlawful demands” and heeds to Tehran’s conditions, Iranian Envoy Mohammad Fathali said on Monday (April 13, 2026).
His comments at a media briefing came a day after talks between Iran and the U.S. in Islamabad ended without any breakthrough.

“If they (the U.S.) accept our conditions, it is possible,” Mr. Fathali said, responding to a question.
Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday (April 13, 2026) that Israel supports U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to impose a naval blockade on Iran, adding that his government is in full coordination with Washington on the matter.
