A 25-year-old man died and another was critically injured after a motorcycle crashed near PJR Flyover in Gachibowli in the wee hours of Monday (April 13, 2026).
The victim has been identified as Vikas Kumar Nepak, a private employee and resident of Puppalaguda. According to police, the accident was reported around 4 a.m. when he was riding along with his friend Bharath Kumar.
The speeding motorcycle went out of control near the flyover and hit a road divider. Nepak sustained severe head injuries and was shifted to Osmania General Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Bharath Kumar, who was in control of the vehicle at the time of the accident, suffered grievous injuries and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hitec City. His condition is stated to be critical.
Police said the two were part of a group of friends who had set out from Hafeezpet towards Nanakramguda in the early hours in search of breakfast. As they were returning, the accident took place.
