April 10 (UPI) -- Emergency responders in Florida came to the rescue of an owl that was struck by a vehicle and became wedged inside the front grille.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said deputies and animal control officers responded to a local church parking lot on Easter Sunday.

The owl was found alive, but trapped in the front grille of the vehicle after an apparent collision on the road.
