April 9 (UPI) -- The classic romantic comedy, Jerry Maguire, is returning to cinemas this weekend in celebration of the 30th anniversary of its release.

"Looking forward to sharing it with you all again in theaters next week!" Cruise wrote on X Wednesday.

Directed by Cameron Crowe, the film will play on select screens starting Sunday.

It features Cruise as the title character, a sports agent who must rebuild his career after publicly announcing he and his colleagues were more concerned with money than the love of the game and should scale back their client lists so they could devote more time to each person.
