Fees for the third checked bag will go up by $50, from $150 to $200.The markups will apply to tickets purchased on or after April 8 for domestic flights and select short-haul international flights, according to the airline. Tickets for longer-haul international flights will be unaffected.Delta joins United Airlines and JetBlue in making such fee hikes amid a surge in jet fuel prices.“These updates are part of Delta’s ongoing review of pricing across its business and reflect the impact of evolving global conditions and industry dynamics,” Delta said in a statement.See All UpdatesClose
