April 4 (UPI) -- Shrinking creator Bill Lawrence is teasing a "completely new story" for Season 4 of his beloved Apple TV comedy series.
"Season finale and end of this three season story next week. Hope you dig it. (Excited to start completely new story next year. Feels scary/risky/fun) Thanks for watching. #Shrinking," Lawrence wrote on X Saturday.
The first three seasons of the show starred Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, Ted McGinley and Michael Urie. It was about a trio of therapists who helped each other and formed a found family, bringing in more friends and neighbors each season. The show was renewed for a fourth season in January. It is unclear who, if anyone, will return from the cast for the next run of episodes.
