MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

TASS has compiled the key information about the conversation between the two leaders.

Putin and Erdogan noted "the importance of coordinated measures for the purpose of ensuring comprehensive security in the Black Sea waters" amid Ukraine’s ongoing attempts to damage the Blue Stream and TurkStream pipeline infrastructure.

The Russian leader also thanked his Turkish counterpart "for his unwavering readiness to facilitate" negotiations on Ukraine.

Putin and Erdogan discussed the ongoing escalation in the Middle East.
