Several people have been arrested after rapper Gucci Mane was allegedly robbed and kidnapped at a recording studio in Dallas earlier this year.

The Grammy-nominated rapper was allegedly kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint by nine individuals, which included fellow emcees Pooh Shiesty and Big30, during a business meeting at the studio, Ryan Raybould, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, announced in a press release Thursday, April 2.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said that eight of the nine suspects were arrested on Wednesday, April 1, across Dallas, Memphis and Nashville. They face up to life in prison if convicted.

Aside from Shiesty and Big30, the other alleged suspects include Lontrell Williams Sr., Kedarius Waters, Terrance Rodgers, Damarian Gipson, Demarcus Glover, Kordae Johnson and Darrion McDaniel. Rodgers has not been arrested yet, according to Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA.

Williams Sr. is Shiesty's father (the rapper's birth name is Lontrell Williams Jr.). He allegedly "helped plan and execute" the kidnapping, the U.S. Attorney's Office noted.
