Kristi Noem’s husband has indicated he will address claims that he shared photos of himself cross-dressing online while his wife served as homeland security secretary.

On Tuesday, the Daily Mail reported Bryon Noem had posted photos of himself dressed in women’s clothing, often with fake breasts. The British tabloid also reported he’d sent messages to women in the “bimbofication” fetish scene.

In a report from a town in South Dakota close to the Noem family farm, The New York Times says it contacted Bryon Noem via text message multiple times to request an interview.

“I will at some point,” he reportedly said in a text message on Tuesday. “Today is not the day. I appreciate your heart.”

In the Times piece, neighbors of the Noems said they were shocked by the claims.
