Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has entered rehab, his attorney Levi McCathern told The California Post on April 1.

McCathern revealed Nacua was being treated at a luxury treatment center in Malibu. He explained that the 24-year-old receiver's stay is "to improve his overall behavior in every aspect of his life that he can do it."

The lawyer also clarified that while a March lawsuit filed against Nacua by a woman – who accused him of biting her, causing injury, pain and suffering and accused him of making an antisemitic comment on Dec. 31, 2025 – was a "contributing factor" in him entering rehab, his decision was not directly tied to the civil proceedings.

"He was in there a substantial period of time before any of these allegations broke," McCathern told the California Post, "and he’s scheduled to be there for a while longer."

Nacua, through McCathern, has denied Atiabi's allegations "in the strongest terms." And McCathern told USA TODAY Sports in March that they are planning to file a defamation lawsuit against the woman.
