No. 3 Illinois defeated No. 9 Iowa on Saturday evening in Houston, advancing to the Final Four in the men's NCAA Tournament.
The Fighting Illini took down a Big Ten rival in the Hawkeyes, ending their Cinderella run in the Elite Eight 71-59. This is Illinois' first trip to the Final Four since 2005.
