The mystery of Fox McCloud has been solved.
In a March 27 Instagram post, Golden Globe-nominated actor Glen Powell revealed he will be voicing the role of McCloud, the protagonist of the "Star Fox" games, in "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie."
The casting news comes a day after Nintendo shocked fans by revealing a film poster for the canine gaming hero.
Powell announced his involvement with a playful video, which showed the "Chad Powers" star prancing through an empty movie theater Mario-style as the video game's iconic theme music played in the background. At the end, Powell turned his back to the camera to reveal his jacket bore the Fox McCloud logo.
"Born to Barrel Roll," Powell wrote in the post's caption, referring to the aerial maneuver in the "Star Fox" series.
