Steve Bannon has suggested that the recent ICE agent deployments to U.S. airports could be a “test run” for the 2026 midterm elections.

“We can use what’s happening with these ICE helping out at the airports, we can use this as a test run, as a test case, to really perfect ICE’s involvement in the 2026 midterm elections,” Bannon said to guest Mike Davis on Monday’s episode of his “War Room” podcast.

Davis, founder of the conservative advocacy group The Article III Project, concurred with Bannon’s suggestion.

“Yeah, I think we should have ICE agents at the polling places,” Davis said, “because if you’re an illegal alien, you can’t vote.”

Davis also said that American citizens “should be happy that ICE is there because you’re not gonna have illegal aliens cancelling out your vote.”
