RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Jeddah on Saturday, where they discussed regional developments and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
At the start of the meeting, the two leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, expressing hopes for continued prosperity and progress for their countries and the wider Islamic world, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Talks focused on the repercussions of ongoing military escalation in the region and its impact on regional and global security, with both sides reviewing efforts to coordinate responses, SPA added.
