How's your bracket going? Mine pretty much died with the first game. The first official day of the 2026 March Madness tournament was packed with upsets, close games and some surprising performances (looking at you, Duke). Now, we will find out the matchups for the second round.
The Sweet 16 will be here before you know it and it's never too early to start planning your attendance at one of the four regional sites: San Jose, California, Houston, Texas, Chicago, Illinois and Washington, D.C. Each site will host three games, including two Sweet 16 games and one Elite 8 game. The matchups are not yet known, but all-session passes are already available for all four sites.

The First Four tipped off the 2026 March Madness tournament on Tuesday, March 17. The two rounds run between Thursday, March 19 and Sunday, March 22. The tournament concludes with the Final Four on Saturday, April 4 and the National Championship game on Monday, April 6.
The first round will wrap up today, Friday, March 20. Then, the Round of 32 will take place over Saturday and Sunday, determining the matchups for the Sweet 16. We'll be updating as the weekend moves forward with the teams that advance so stay tuned!
