Wes Streeting urged the BBC Question Time audience to “think of the Hokey Cokey” in relation to a Tory panellist’s answer to a question on the Middle East war.

The health secretary made the jibe at Helen Whately’s answer about the conflict in Iran during Thursday evening’s episode (19 March), as he insisted the Conservatives had not been consistent on its stance.

Mr Streeting said: “Just think of the Hokey Cokey and it'll all make sense... In, out, in, out.”
