Saudi crown prince, Kuwait’s emir say Iran’s attacks on GCC countries are ‘dangerous escalation’

RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a telephone call with Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the emir of Kuwait, on Thursday to discuss regional issues and security concerns, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The two leaders reviewed the latest developments and their implications for security and stability.

They condemned what they described as repeated hostile attacks by Iran on Gulf Cooperation Council countries, including the targeting of vital facilities, and warned that such actions represented a dangerous escalation, the SPA added.

Both sides stressed that GCC states would continue to deploy all available resources to defend their territories, safeguard security, and preserve regional stability.
