St. Patrick's Day brought the luck of the Irish to one lucky lottery winner in Ohio, who won the $60 million Mega Millions jackpot.
Just eight days after someone in Illinois won the Mega Millions $533 million jackpot, another in Ohio found their pot of gold and won big on Tuesday, March 17. The jackpot, which has a cash value of $27.1 million, is the second Mega Millions jackpot won in 2026.
The jackpot winner will be able to choose between two options. They can either receive a one-time, lump-sum cash payment or receive an immediate payment followed by annual checks, each 5% larger than the previous year.
Since the jackpot was won during Tuesday night's drawing, it has since reset back to $50 million.
