Call it a clapping clapback.

On Monday, Teyana Taylor responded to all the “miserable” people online who criticized her for enthusiastically applauding Amy Madigan after she lost to her at the 2026 Oscars.

The “One Battle After Another” star was seen several times throughout the ceremony physically displaying unbridled joy — prompting some users to question her seemingly over-the-top behavior on X.

“WTF going on with Teyana?” one user said on X in response to a video in which Taylor excitedly hugged “One Battle” director Paul Thomas Anderson as he accepted the Oscar for Best Picture. “This is like the 3rd video in a row I’ve seen of her wildin at the Oscar’s.”

Both Madigan and Taylor were nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actress category Sunday, and when Madigan won for her haunting portrayal of Aunt Gladys in “Weapons,” Taylor could be seen shooting out of her seat to give the “Field of Dreams” alum a standing ovation.
