A social media post from Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) lamenting the “arrogance” of U.S. allies amid the ongoing war with Iran got a foul-mouthed response from former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.)

Graham, who has been a hawkish voice lobbying Trump to keep the military pressure going, griped on X Tuesday morning about “our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning.”

“Oh eat a sack of ripe anuses,” Kinzinger replied, adding that President Donald Trump “spent the first two weeks” of the war “saying we don’t need anyone.”

NATO allies have been hesitant to assist with the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran effectively blocked off the crucial maritime passage in response to military strikes from the U.S. and Israel last month.

Graham said in his post that he had spoken to Trump about the situation and had never heard him “so angry in my life.”
